Full Livery and DIY Livery at Sussex Polo Club
We offer two types of livery – full livery and grass DIY livery, with over 200 acres of grazing situated at the grounds.
Full Livery
Based on the warm and welcoming estancias of Argentina, Sussex Polo Club provides a full on-site livery service for polo players with your dedicated Argentine groom. Full livery is suitable for those who would like their horses looked after and exercised by our staff. Each horse has a groom who is designated to take care of their daily needs. The price for full livery includes basic feed, daily care (change rugs, clean and maintain saddlery & supervise maintenance of your rugs) and exercise 4 days per week. This does not include re-schooling, please speak to the Polo Office for pricing. We also supervise all vet and farrier visits for your horse and arrange worming.
Summer Grass Livery
Also known as D-I-Y or grazing livery.
You are responsible for all daily aspects for the care of your horse and tack. It is recommended that you check your horse over twice daily.
If you require someone to be available to attend to your horse for either a vet check or farrier visit, a small fee will be incurred. Please contact the polo office for details.
