Full Livery & Part Livery at Sussex Polo Club

We offer two types of livery – full livery and part livery, with over 150 acres of grazing situated at the grounds.

Full Livery – £650pcm

Based on the warm and welcoming estancias of Argentina, Sussex Polo Club provides a full on-site livery service for polo players with your own dedicated groom. Full livery is suitable for those who would like their horses looked after and exercised by our staff. Each horse has a groom who is designated to take care of their daily needs.

The price for full livery includes:

  • Turnout in small groups in well maintained electric fenced paddocks
  • Basic feed & hay or haylage (supplements can be fed at extra cost)
  • Daily care (rug changing, grooming, checking and feeding)
  • Exercise 4 days a week
  • Tack Cleaning and washing of saddlecloths, boots and bandages
  • Horses tacked up and prepared on days of play and chukkas
  • Organisation and management of farrier and vet visits (all costs to be covered by the owner)
  • Each horse wormed regularly under our worming programme

Full livery does not include schooling but this can be arranged at an extra cost.

Part Livery – £400pcm

Our Part Livery service is great for players wanting to exercise their own horses.

Part livery includes all of the daily care aspects of our Full Livery service but excludes exercising, tacking up of your horse and tack cleaning.

Winter Turnout Livery – £175

Horses are kept turned out in the 150 acres of grazing at Home Farm and are checked over twice daily by professional grooms.  We also supervise all vet and farrier visits for your horse and arrange rug-changing and  worming.  Haylage is also included within monthly price.
