Polo matches are held most weekend afternoons from May to September.  Public adminssion is generally Sunday afternoons with polo from noon.

Different Types of Tournaments:

Sponsored Tournaments (Full Membership)

  • Four-a-side
  • Pro Umpire on finals day
  • Prizes for everyone
  • £400 per team
  • Visiting teams welcome

Non-Sponsored Tournaments (Full Membership)

  • Four-a-side
  • Prizes for finalists only
  • £400 per team
  • Visiting teams welcome

Novice Matches (Chukka Membership)

  • Three-a-side
  • Prizes for finalists
  • Pro players cannot score
  • £150 per day per team
  • Umpire Pony included within entry fee

County Polo Matches (Instructional Membership)

  • Three-a-side
  • Non-Pro polo
  • Highest handicap Zero Goals
  • Instructional
  • Prizes for winning team
  • £50 per person
  • Umpire Pony included within entry fee

Umpire Ponies

Please make sure your team provides an umpire pony for your match, ready and tacked up as for polo.  Umpire Ponies are available for rental at £50 per match per team, unless otherwise specified.
